To me, jewelry is one of the most personal gifts you can give. In 2004, after a reduction in household income, I started making jewelry as a way to continue giving gifts. The hobby began with making beaded jewelry for Valentine’s Day, then adornments for my family’s Easter outfits. Soon after, friends inquired about having jewelry made for them or as gifts for loved ones. The more I made, the more skills I acquired. A real turning point came when I broke my ankle while roller skating with my daughters. It was during the recuperation period that I started learning the wire wrap technique using sterling and gold-filled wire. (See..., every cloud does have a sterling… uhh…silver lining.) I love making jewelry and you can be sure that each piece I create will have a little of that love in it. Deb
